Make a Difference Las Vegas is about creating a community of giving. Annually, USA Today holds a Make a Difference Day on the 4th Saturday of every October, which is the most encompassing national day of helping others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors.
Working with this idea, why do it only one day a year? Make a Difference Las Vegas makes this a year-round event.
Every January our partnering charities are selected and we receive their "wishlists" of much needed repairs, renovations, clothing and supplies. That's when we get to work and gather up hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers to fulfill the basic human needs of thousands of people in our community. We work passionately throughout the year to achieve our goal of completing each and every wishlist. Our efforts come to fruition on the 4th Saturday of October.
